What is an Affordable, Assisted Living Community?

Similarly to all assisted living, the New Standard Senior Living communities are designed to provide older adults personalized care and support in a residential setting in order to enhance their lifestyles while remaining as independent and active as possible. One of the most significant differences between any assisted living community and the New Standard’s communities is affordability. Our Affordable, Assisted Living communities are part of Low-Income Housing Tax Credit (LIHTC) program purposely designed to bring assisted living to low-income seniors.

Why Choose New Standard Senior Living?

We strive to provide the highest quality of care and assistance to low-income seniors with exceptional, living accommodations that feature private studio apartment-style rooms with a private bath and kitchenette in a state-of-the-art, brand new, smart-building and energy efficient communities. Learn more about what makes the New Standard Senior Living communities unique here.

The communities are wonderful but the prices listed are still too high. How are low-income seniors supposed to afford them?

While it is true that the cost of living, food, medicine and medical care are quite high, the fees listed on this website are for transparency purposes only and do not indicate your monthly payment requirements to live in our communities. Our affordable, assisted living communities DO NOT have a private pay requirement! So, if you are a low-income senior who cannot afford a private-pay assisted living facility, New Standard Senior Living is the right solution for you.
